ONE DOLLAR
ONE DOLLAR

polymedia action

with and by Martina Ruhsam, Vlado G. Repnik, Stefan Messner, Igor Stromajer and Valerie Plame

oh dear public – you are my software

Interphase # A test station # A memory machine # A waiting room # A washing saloon # A call center # A body # An exhilation # Blank_protest

Over the border of political correctness, cool estimation and logical connections there is one dollar one dollar. Whereas mass media is hunting big emotional hurricanes and providing fast food information one dollar one dollar operates on the level of tiny eruptions, tender connections and their interferences. One dollar one dollar is driven by curiosity rather than classification.
Mega bites reach other continents in couple seconds, expanding the back ups: Let’s take off the shoes. Let’s take off the ground. Each person and object is involved. Take One. By feeling all the gravity.
Everyone present in one dollar one dollar is exhaling observations as well as inhaling new ones.
Location is a fiction. That holds us.

because there is no bigger seduction than the irritation of your own reality

I forgot. Oh memory, be tender with my history.
We walked in the cold air, freezing breath on a window pane, lying and waiting. You are never alone – you and your partner. There is always the third, phantasmatic element, which makes you enjoying. Is there a connection between toilets and ideology, fingerprints, blank protest and dietheater?

Do you hear me laughing in your headphones?

As radicalism operates on the level of connections, virtual is not the code but the interplay of our senses in the fragile context of a before and an after. The endless derivation of signs, which are meandering without a beginning nor an end, changing their stages.
On the black market of ideas I bought two dollars. I forgot to pay.

the enemy of thought is not practise but generality

We walked in the cold air,
Freezing breath on a window pane,
Lying and waiting,
A man in the dark in a picture frame,
So mystic and soulful,
A voice reaching out in a piercing cry,
It stays with you until,
The feeling is gone,
Only you and I,
It means nothing to me,
This means nothing to me,
Oh Vienna.

The music is weaving,
Hunting notes, pizzicato strings,
The rhythm is calling,
Alone in the night as the daylight brings,
A cool empty silence,
The warmth of your hand and a cold grey sky,
It fades to the distance,
The image is gone,
Only you and I,
It means nothing to me,
This means nothing to me,
Oh Vienna.

This means nothing to me,
This means nothing to me,
Oh Vienna.
